Where Edgewonk is strongest

Edgewonk treats psychology as the center of the journal. Mistake tracking, discipline scores, checklists, report cards, Tiltmeter and its Edge Finder are deeper than the behavior layer in most competitors. Its performance and alternative-strategy analysis also make the subscription strong for deliberate post-trade review.

The differences
that change the decision.

Price is only useful beside the exact tier and feature. These points use Edgewonk's current published plans and LynxTrades' implemented limits.

  1. Replay, open-position P&L and quantitative risk

LynxTrades includes simulated replay on Free, then adds live-quote P&L for supported positions, journal-history Monte Carlo and visible Kelly sizing analysis on Pro. Edgewonk focuses more heavily on review after a trade closes.

  2. Option spreads stay together

Both products cover options. LynxTrades also groups multi-leg strategies as one position with more than ten presets, which matters when the unit of review is the spread rather than each contract.

  3. Conversational analysis

Onyx answers questions from up to 50 recent trades and derived analytics, drafts performance reviews and supports coaching and current-field pre-entry suggestions. Both products now write an automated weekly review; Lynx also lets you pick the weekday, hour and timezone, quotes your own journal back, and keeps an archive. Edgewonk does not publish a comparable conversational AI layer.

  2. Nothing in the product, on this website or in a message generated by LynxTrades is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, derivative, currency, commodity or other financial instrument. You remain solely responsible for every trading decision.
  3. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You may lose some or all of the capital you commit. Past performance recorded in a journal does not guarantee or predict future results.
  4. Analytics, statistics and reports are calculated from information supplied by you or connected third parties. They may contain errors, omissions or delays and should be reconciled with your broker’s official statements before you rely on them.
  5. Hypothetical results, simulations and projections have inherent limitations, do not represent actual trading and may differ materially from real outcomes. They cannot account for every market condition, cost, execution constraint or decision a trader may face.
  6. Onyx and other AI-assisted features produce informational output from the context available to them. Responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be independently reviewed; they are not personalized investment advice.
  7. Broker connections are read-only and may be operated by third-party connectivity providers. LynxTrades does not place, route, modify or cancel orders, cannot move funds and does not take custody of customer assets.
  8. Market and brokerage data may be supplied by third parties and can be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. It is provided for journaling and review, not for live order execution.
  9. Sample ledgers, charts, statistics and product images on this site use fictional demonstration data from illustrative accounts. They are not customer results, testimonials or a representation of results any user should expect.
  10. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe on hosted payment pages. LynxTrades does not store full payment-card numbers; billing terms presented at checkout and the Terms of Service govern paid subscriptions.
